Hello everyone,
I have a 2013 Merc 60 EFI Bigfoot on my Suntracker pontoon.
At WOT, with just the wife and I on board, it will run 23 mph, 5800 rpms on smooth water.
With two other adults on, their coolers and such, it will slow down to 17-18 mph, also WOT.
However on random occasions, it would slow down to 17 mph with just the wife and I, or as slow as 11 mph with those other two adults on board. This mysterious reduction of power is completely random, and if I shut it off and start the engine again it usually runs normally.
There are no faults on vessel view mobile. It is not running hot, and not in guardian mode.
No unusual noises. The RPMs do drop down significantly with the reduced power.
I am good with my maintenance, I changed both fuel filters this year, and I have a quicksilver water separator in line as well with a fresh filter.
472.5 hours on the motor as of right now.
Thanks for any suggestions.
