Hi, new to the site, Thanks for allowing this post!
I have a 2013 Tahoe Q5i that we purchased in 2015 as a leftover. We've had fairly good luck with it, but now am experiencing some issues with the steering. Late last year I noticed that the steering wheel will stick in position and will require a "jerk" to one side in order to change positions. I asked my dealer to look into it after describing my issues, but they were not able to recreate the problem. (At least while it sits on the trailer). Before I spend the money on a "wet test", I thought to see if anyone else has experienced any of the same issues and if there might be a simple solution.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Looking forward to any and all reply's!

What motor and drive?
Have you checked the power steering reservoir?

Hi, It has the 4.3 MPI Mercruiser with an Alpha 1 drive. I have not checked the fluid. This is not a cable system? Sorry for my ignorance!

Not a cable as in like a close line and pulleys, there is a spiral cable inside the steering cable.
