Hello iboats members, hope everyone is doing well and ready to hit the water this season!
I have an unusual problem with my 2015 Bayliner flight series boat. Before I take it to someone I wanted to make sure no one here had ever encountered this. I purchased this boat with a froze and busted engine, installed a new long block assembly myself. I have a check engine light that comes on along with a long continuous beep when I first crank it up. Here's the weird thing to me, once this light comes on the engine develops a noise that sounds just like a lifter tapping. Only codes that come are CATM o2 lean response stbd, P02S rich range stbd, and an active lamp description , Guardian Cause, value 8 and GC sensor fault. Once this info is cleared from the computer the engine runs as smooth as you could ask one to, tapping noise goes away. However within the next few key cycles and start ups the light and tapping noise is back. I have no idea where to start diagnosing this problem!
