i have 2017 GT185 and blew fuse also, i found mine right behind the glove box w/ the stereo wires.
i was going to post question for this as well so i'll piggy on your post cause we may have same issue. This 12v has a 5amp fuse. i bought the smallest airhead compressor to blow up rafts. soon as i turned it on it spun for 1/2 second and stopped cause fuse was blew. airhead works fine in truck.
i looked it up and its 11.5a, i found different one at walmart that was 6.5amps but boat is 5amp fuse? I'm not an electrician but I'm guessing you shouldn't put a device in plug that draws more amp the fuse? is there a 5amp compressor? how worthless is a 12v 5amp outlet on boat if nothing plugs into it?
