I'm trying to find out the total weight of boat, trailer, fuel, gear, and whatever else you need for a days of fishing on a 20-21' center console.

Is this a boat you already own, or are looking to buy?
Depending on where you live, there should be a truck stop, grain elevator, or similar scale near by.
That would be the best place to go if you already own the boat. Otherwise, the dealer you are dealing with should be able to. If private party purchase, try getting a hold of the maufacurer customer service dept.

What is your (get your owners manual and use only the options your vehicle has) towing capacity? Then you have 2 options: shop for a boat that you can tow, or shop for a boat knowing that you need a new tow vehicle.

If you're dead set in buying this boat, ask the seller if you can connect it to your existing vehicle to tow it. If it works, you won't have to buy a replacement. If it strain, then you're going to buy a replacement anyway.

Re: 21' cc weight?

I have a question as well but first I just bought an 18' Starcraft center console on a 20ish foot EZ loader trailer. The person I bought it from only had the title to the boat and had no sort of registration for the trailer to include no title. I cannot find the VIN or the 5 digit number on the trailer it has no plates either so VA has decided to let me know there is no way to register this trailer to include registering it as a home made trailer... would anyone happen to have any comments as to what they might do?

Old thread hijacked

anyway, go to a used trailer dealer and talk to him about trading yours in for a used trailer w/ a title and he can use yours for parts, or he may know a process.
Virginia is crazy that way. My 2002 Venture trailer has no plates or numbers on it; luckily I have the title but how would anyone match it up? And I wouldn't be comfortable filing a government doc calling something home-made when clearly it isn't, although I know that people do that all the time and sometimes the clerk at DMV recommends it.
Or maybe the manufacturer can help; there could be a secret number somewhere, like under the hitch.

Where are you?
Oh, and welcome aboard, but best not to respond to old threads except for updated relevant information about a timeless and universal topic.
