225 yamaha low water pressure

i have 1991 225 with low water pressure
lower unit is off 2003 150 4 stroke
only getting 5 to 6 psi
tried new water pump
no thermostats
i saw something about poppet on seloc bb but cant find it
any help would be appreactiated
i cant spell lol

The poppet valve is at the rear lower starboard side of the block, May have to remove the computer to get to it.
