I found this boat for sale, and I was wondering what you all could tell me about it? It's hard to find info on older boats... Anything you know would be helpful! Anything from the original weight to your opinion about this brand/vintage would be nice to know.

I've never seen one that looks like this (completely enclosed cabin), not this old anyway.. Looks perfect for what I need...

Oh, one other quick question... Is there a way to make sure the stringers arent soft? I dont know how that boat is laid out exactly, but I'd guess their not easy to see. I think I might just pay to get a boat survey done but I thought I'd ask. :)

Anyway, your thoughts are appreciated!

PS - It has a 350ci engine, unsure which drive (its white so im guessing OMC?)

Ayuh,... That's reason enough to keep lookin',...
Unless ya love it so much that yer gonna refit a Mercruiser or Volvo driveline...

It's an Old boat,...
What it weighed in 1977, probably ain't what it weighs today...

What he said. Most Reinells had the OMC drives.

I had a '73 with a mercruiser, and I can still say it wasnt the best built boat out there. Thin glass, poor deck to hull joint, no glass on the inner transom. I'd have to pass on another one. Reinell made very nice wooden boats, but didnt make the transition very well into glass.
