I'm looking for wiring and battery hookup direction/diagram for my 24v MinnKota.

I have 2 batteries for trolling/ accessories that are separate from a 3rd/ starting battery. From what I can see there are 3 cables (red, black & orange) running to the bow of the boat, were there is a 3 prong plug for the trolling motor. I cannot find a 12/24v switch.

I've found diagrams online that specify which cable from my batteries will supply the 24v (i.e.: from the pos terminal of the battery with the jumper on the neg terminal) and which ones will supply the 12v, however I don't know which color cable that corresponds to.

Re: 24v trolling motor - blk, red & orange wires

If your motor is capable of running on ONLY 24 volts, here is how the batteries are wired and you do not need a 12/24 switch. Make sure the power for your 12 volt accessories is connected to the battery on the left. If there is an orange wire going up front, it can be connected at the same terminal as the jumper between the two batteries (either terminal). 12 volt accessories could also be powered up from by using the orange and black wires at the troller plug.
