Hello all
I'm thinking of moving from a 2011 Cobalt 242 to a new Chris Craft Launch 25. I know it's a bit of a lateral move but love the looks and style of the CC. I'm a sucker for the teak.

I haven't yet tested the CC but wondering what I can expect that might be different from the rides and capacity if anything? The Cobalt has a 21 dead rise vs 20 for the CC, and the CC weighs about 1,000 lbs more. CC has about 4" less draft. The Cobalt looks a little roomier, I know Cobalt is known for maximizing interior space.

I use the boat in the Peconic, which means the water can get a little choppy sometimes. The CC "looks" so much lower profile (is it?) that I wonder if spray would be an issue, or if there's anything beyond a test drive that can give me some indication. Any personal experiences welcome!

Thanks
M

The CC is a longer boat, carries a bit more fuel but over all I would have a close look at it. If the attention to detail is there, it would be a hands down winner, but haven't talked price. The CC being heavier should ride a tad better but also burn a tad more fuel (guess that's why the fuel tank is bigger).

The CC is about 1.5x the cost, but I already know that!

Personally, I love the look of the CC, beautiful boats for sure. I have never been in one but the reviews are all positive. I am of the opinion that price is second, if you can afford it and think its worth the cash... go for it
