Thanks to all the help eveyone has given me with my first boat. I've now gotten a tiny tach to decide on a propeller . I look at the manuel and it says idle is 950 +- 50 and wot at 5000 to 6000 recomended 5500... Mine is ideling at about 1170-1220 and wot at 6100-6200 I'm guessing that this is bad lol.. I looked to see if there's an idle adjuster and I don't see anything and the book says idle andustments- see yamaha dealer . The motor is a 2005 25 hp 4 stroke f25mshd any help is appreciated.. My prop is worn so I'm hoping the over rev can be fixed w a new prop but not sure about the idle.. Thanks
