I have a friend who had the water intake stop up with leaf litter on his 1999 Johnson 25 hp. <br /><br />Needless to say he now has a motor that is in bad shape. <br /><br />It is a three cylinder 25 HP. The top cylinder compression is 75, the middle and bottom cylinders are 100.<br /><br />What is the normal compression for this motor?<br /><br />The motor didnt have a head gasket on it when he removed the head??? As far as I know the motor has never been worked on.
