250 pro xs (2008) hard to turn over

I have just recently replaced a 2001 250 pro XB with a 2008 250 pro XS. Every since I bought it, it has been like the starter is real weak or the motor is real tight, and just yesterday a chilly morning (39 degrees) the motor wouldn't turn over fast enough to start it at first. How big of a battery does this motor require? The old battery that was in it was just recently replaced, and was a plenty to spin the older 2001 250 pro XB; It is a 650 cca.

I just rechecked my battery and it is a 625 cold cranking amp battery; I think I am going to try a stronger battery. Any suggestions on what kind ?
