25hp mercury bigfoot

have 25hp bigfoot on a 16foot aluminum smoker craft.Engine runs fine, but cannot get over 12mph. what pitch prop is best suited for more speed?

Would this not be better suited for Mercury outboard troubles? I guess not.

A little more detail, what type smoker, light utility or full dress ?
also need your present prop size,max rpm and speed.A big foot is a poor choice for that application but will work.Does the performance seem good except for speed?
