Well, im trying to rebuild my 79 Sundancer. Wow, quite a bit of work in there so far. Next is the electrical system. Is there any marine electrical shop that would do this with out killing me on the price? I want it done right, which is why im thinking about having it done. if not, where would I look for a schematic of the thing. Its mostly stock, and runs great, but the spagetti under the dash is bothersome.

thanks in advance.

David.

david,

You are going to pay BIG $$$ for someone else to figure it out.

Do it yourself. Does everything work?

If so, redo the wires one at a time. It will take a while but you won't lose track of what you're doing.

David,

Last winter I purchased on Ebay a complete SeaRay harness (26+ft ) which included every wire (radio speakers wires also) for approx $ 65. It was from newer models, I have a 76 SRV and I made it work with not much problem.

I do sell a lot of marine parts on Ebay, but I don't have a harness like that, if you have time, search on it, and you might find what you need and save a bundle.

SeaRay sent me (on request) a wiring color code sheet, but wasn't much useful.
