I bought a1983 sportcraft with twin 470 in it and it was misproped. One is a 16/14 and the other is a15/9. Does anyone have this boat and what do you have on it. The transmissions are 1.52 : 1

The 16 X 14 sounds like a more appropriate size. Make sure you end up with a matched set from the same manufacturer.

Keep in mind the WOT operating range for the 470 is 3800-4200 rpm.
