270 outdrive pulls to the left.

'84 Bayliner Capri, Volvo AQ125 with the 270 outdrive.

At all times, it wants to cut left....under more power the tendancy is of course greater. So, you let go of the wheel, it turns right away, and under power, you have to hold the wheel tightly to keep it straight.

Absolute PIA to run it in a straight line coming into port, my hands are moving all over trying to keep it straight.

What should I check here?

While bubba's picture isn't a Volvo drive, it's still the same basic problem. The trim tab on the 270 drives is actually the exhaust port with the flapper on it. Turn it to the opposite side of center and the steering should change. It's a trial and error adjustment.
