I noticed when i pulled the front cover that covers the gear selector, and gear cable mechanism water poured out of it. Is water supposed to be gettin in there? I couldnt find a gasket or anything in the part books that would stop the water from coming in. Also, right where the pawl rod goes through, there seems to be no seal, has it come off or these drives just dont have em. Is it just me or does water actually find its way in there. This is a saltwater boat.
