I am looking to purchase a 28' galvanized trailer for my boat. I have found one and could use some input or comments. Obviously the trailer broker is telling me it will fit my boat. I have posted pictures below. I am concerned with a couple of things. (1) the trailer is bolted together with u-bolts and other thru bolt applications. No welds. (2) Has anyone had experience with the roller application? Also, looking at the at the trailer from stern to bow it looks like there may be some clearance issues for the lowest part of the beam hitting on the trailer axel. He is also telling me it is a heavy duty trailer rated for 10,000 lbs. Thank you in advance for looking and posting any comments.
Regards, Tom

Nothing wrong with that trailer. U bolts are common and preferable vs. welds at some connections. Thru bolts are commonly used at the coupler and work just fine. And the rollers are nice, that trailer appears to have plenty of them. They make launching and retrieving very easy, just make sure not to undo the winch on the ramp before you get in the water! I'd give the rollers a good look before you drop your boat on them, look for cracks and make sure they spin freely. They're relatively cheap to replace too. The rollers will adjust to the bottom of your boat, it will clear just fine. I'd look harder at the brakes than anything, have your dealer bleed them and service the wheel bearings also before you buy it. Maybe add some guide posts to it would be my only thing I see missing. But I give it a thumbs up given what I can see, looks like the right rig for a 28'.
