280 Propeller cone with Tab Washer

I have a propeller washer with 9 tabs on it which lock down the propeller cone on my Volvo 280 Single prop. Its a pain to unlock and lock down in order to change my zinc every three months. Can I switch over to the Allen Screw type Propeller cone and get rid of the tab washer altogether? Does this outdrive come with this as an option or some do, some dont and a serial number is needed?

You would have to change your prop also. The lock washer style is for the short hubed props, and the other style for the long hub.
If you get a long hub prop, get the same size (Dia. & Pitch) along with all the attaching hardware.
Save the shorthub prop and hardware as a spare.
