2nd impeller in two weeks

and im not runnen it dry, please help. is it the flushing? 1966 merc 65hp and they are rectangle shaped muffles if that even matters. thanks

Have you checked the impeller housing? It could be pitted or worn out - thus causing premature impeller failure. If it's gone, I think there are replacement kits for about $40.00. Hope you are able to isolate the problem.
