Cylinders 3 and 4 on a 2002 3.0. Hours unknown as a wire was off the meter when I got the boat. No ring ledge at the top of the cylinders, walls look good as do piston tops. It had sit for 2-3 years when I bought it and did did oil change tune up ect. I have put 10-20 hours on it.
There does not appear to be any damage the head or block. When removing the head 4-6 rear most bolts did not seem as tight as the rest. (Possible cause or contributing factor?)
Anyone hear of this on 2 cylinders at once before? If so is there anything I should keep in mind or look at specifically before I put it back together, other make sure the head and deck are not warped.

Photo will not upload, head gasket blown out on manifold side perpendicular to the manifold. Centered between head bolts.

follow the photo upload tutorial in the rules and guidelines forum (hint - you need to re-size your pictures)

have your head surfaced, or verify with a ground straight-edge and feeler gauges that its flat

buy new head bolts

if you over-heat, you can spit a head gasket
if you over-heat often you will need to buy a new motor.
