the condition of these parts comes up a lot heres what i found today<br /><br />

<br /><br />manifold after cleaning off old gasket<br /><br /><br />

<br /><br />riser after cleaning off old gasket<br /><br /><br />

<br /><br /><br />flappers seem to be in very good shape still spring closed fast<br /><br />

<br /><br /><br />if you find any bolts like the lower one toss it and go down to your bolt supply <br /><br />tommays

it doesnt look like i have a flapper, could this be a bad thing?

You don't have one like that, yours is on the outdrive itself. One of the many differences between Volvo and Mercruiser.
