does anyone no what might cause a unconsistant ticking sound only when under load sounds like its coming from the carb is there anything in there that can cause a noise like this
If its the shutter its normal and you should do nothing. Im not their. Make sure its not the valves. The 3.0 will make a tapping sound from the shutter under different loads. Look at the picture. Number 6 is the exhaust shutter.<br /><br />
