Sorry I couldn’t find the info. I found a brand new still in crate doosan 3.0 engine. The owner says it’s the same thing as the mercruiser 3.0? Anyone have any info on this. Right off I know I would need to change the core plugs to brass. Anything else? Are the cams and everything else the same? It’s a doosan PSI 3.0. Looks exactly the same from what I can tell. Idk if the fly wheel and stuff are the same bolt pattern. Thanks guys.

I’m still trying to find more on it. Looks like the exact motor on the outside. I went on the website psiengines and found it. Looks like it’s not rated for the same power. 76 hp and lower compression from the looks of it. Dang I thought I found a good deal.

He says the motor has 9.25 compression maybe it’s the same motor? Is there a reason the data sheets only got to 3k rpm? That’s why the hp is so low. Guy says his buddy put one in his boat and says it works great. It’s a brand new motor for 1k idk if it’s the same though.

Different cam? Head? Might try contacting gm. Or get something in writing from the guy. Or google some replacement part numbers for both engines and see if they're the same.
