I just bought a 1985 Bayliner Capri Cuddy with a 3.0 Omc Cobra i/o. The engine cranks up good and idles smooth. I can run it for a little while with no problems but after it warms up a little it looses power dramatically then it dies shortly after. Once it dies it doesn't like to start up for a while. Once i get it started again it runs for a bit then does the same thing again. I have replaced the carb, gone to an electronic ignition and back to a points ignition and cleaned the fuel lines. I am a first time boat owner and dont know a lot about boats and boat engines but have a pretty good knowledge of cars so i know my way around some basic mechanics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
