Last year was our first year with this new to us boat. The carb was rebuilt in August last year and winterized by the same marina. This past weekend we went to use the boat and it was idling rough and lots of smoke from the exhaust. I was able to get another marina to have a quick look at it and you could see the fuel pouring into the carb and flooding it. He told me that the carb would need to be rebuild again.
Is this normal or did the previous marina screw something up? Seems odd that I would have to do this every year. They are one of the top marinas in the area so I would hope their techs know what they are doing. Tomorrow I will be calling the marina that did the work last year since today is a holiday.
