Howdee. New here, looking for some help identifying a 3.5 Sea King that I acquired a few years ago, and don't know what it is. Any help would be appreciated, as I am selling the boat that it is on and would like to be able to tell the buyer what it is...
Model # J350-1106 B or 3, (end of plate is bunged up)
Serial # 347654
Type XTV 27003B

Re: 3.5 hp Sea King

It is a Clinton motor. The powerhead is air cooled, and the exhaust is water cooled. Nearly all Clintons have a water pump to cool the exhaust.

Cool little motor. I believe these have the Eska lower unit's just like the Game Fishers built later. A lot of similarities between the two, except this motor has a Clinton powerhead and the Game Fisher/Eska has the Tecumse' powerhead. So many private brands carried this design back in the 60's and 70's

The Clinton Engine Company went out of business years ago.....the good news is that the guys that worked there bought all the parts and have original factory parts/manuals etc. It's called "Clinton Engine Products" Phone: 563-652-2411. They can send you a manual etc.
