I have a '94 60 Hp Johnson that I'm replacing the head gasket on. Do these require additional sealant or does the gasket get installed dry? Part number is 329836.

If the gasket has a real shiney surface you install it dry. Other wise use a sealer.

Lots of times the Gasket will have 'No Sealer' or 'Install Dry' in it. However there are plenty of Owners and even Mechanics that will Ignore it and proceed to do glop the stuff on, as they know better than the Engineers that made the Engine and/or Gaskets.

The surface of my gasket is slick and shiny, I'll proceed with a dry install. Thank you.
