305 to 350 question (Haven't seen this answered yet)

I am considering replacing my vortec carb 305 with a vortec 350. I am looking at a long block so I will carry everything else over from the 305.

Will the ignition module from the 305 work on the 350? Will I need to replace any part of the ignition system to make the 350 run correctly? What should the timing be set at on the new engine.

I am really leaning towards making this change and I just want to make sure I consider everything before I actually purchase the engine.

Ayuh,... It'll work, just Fine....
I'd also think the timing would be set the same...

Does the carb from the 350 have larger jets or is it the same as the one on the 305? If necessary I guess I would just change the jets if they are different.
