Hey all,
I've got a failing raw water pump on my 2004 350 MAG MPI. The part number for the old pump is 862914C (which I understand is replaced with 862914T10). The existing unit is leaking at the shaft bearings -- still works but in the past week adds quite a lot of water into my bilge so it's gotta go.
It appears that replacement pumps are currently on back-order across North America as the supplier has "casting issues".
I've read a few threads on converting to crank driven pumps like VP's use including a thread started here by another user converting his 5.0L.
Could someone tell me where I can find the part number for the correct size serpentine belt for the 350 MAG if I remove the belt driven water pump. Serial number for the engine is OM674071.
Does anyone know if there is a proper sized hanger bracket that can be used?
