I had to replace my fuel cooler on my 2005 Kayot with a 350 Mercury MPI. I inadvertently reversed the alternator wires when reinstalling. Now I do not get two beeps when I first turn key and starter won't engage. I still get accessories , fan and pump power. I have checked numerous fuses but can't find any blown. I hope I did not fry ECM ?

When key is turned do the gauges come alive?
If they don't look for the 20 amp ignition fuse on the red/purple wire coming from the key switch

If they do and the 20 amp is good, there are 3 fuses on the top the motor,
If top motor fuses are good, then it probably is the ECM

You code contact Bob and see if he can assist

Gauges do not come on. I will check the ignition fuse tonight. Is it located under dash ? It is very tight quarters under there. Thanks

Its either in the fuse/breaker panel and would be labeled. Or follow the Red/Purple wire going to the key switch

I said above the purple wire above (have fixed) but its the Red/Purple

The 90 amp fuse was blown. I did that when reinstalling alternator. Thank you Bt Doctur and all dodge. Now I think I have to remove fuel filter and add some gas to cooler chamber as it turns over now but will not start.

I hope that is all it takes, most cases reversing the leads causes the ECM to take a hit
