351 Chevy starter

I'm helping a friend with his boat. It has a Chevy 351 and the starter died. So I'm helping him get the new one installed but something is missing.

There are two large posts, one is the power and the other the ground. Pretty obvious to me. But then there are two other posts (smaller) that are eluding me. The wires from the motor are black ( I have that one figured out) Red (figured out too) and then there is a yellow with a red stripe and an orange one. I don't know where those go and neither does he. I can get the starter to spin but it won't catch the ring gear and turn the motor over. Just looking to get an idea to what goes where.

The motor year is 1989. If this is the wrong forum, I apologize. I didn't see the Chevy inboard section.

Thanks for the help.

Problem here.
You either have a 351 Ford, or a 350 Chevy. No such thing as a 351 Chevy.
Is your distributor on the front (Ford) of the engine or the back (Chevy)?

It's a Chevy. Brand new starter and I cannot get it to start. It spins but doesn't start or turn the motor over.
