I just pulled the head after installing a new tstat ,felt like she was still running a little warm....question is, the water deflectors I pulled out are all the same length. One parts breakdown shows one part # for all three another parts breakdown shows three different part #s. I read that you could use 3/8 o.d. fuel hose and do the same thing. Are they supose to bottom out on the back,or is there supose to be an opening behind the deflectors?? Also what is the head bolt tighten sequence and the ft # or inch # spec??

Thanks for reading my long winded rambling

Yes if you will notice, there are little "stops" where the deflectors will bottom out on. And the torque for your head is 18-20 ft.lbs.
sequence is:
9----10
5----6
1----2
3----4
7----8
HOPE THIS HELPS!!
