35hp seahorse identification by serial number

Hi folks,
I have a 35hp johnson seahorse that I cant find a model number on. I found what I think is a serial# on a plug in the motor, it is 1980458. There is also another number engraved inside the bottom cowling 377267. I am trying to figure out the year so I can get a manual for it. Thank you

A Johnson 35 should have a two letter model designation...RD or RDE I believe. Look for an ID plate on the top front of the transom clamp, almost up under the pan under the powerhead. Can you post a pix or two?

I found the name plate. It looks like it says RD 21 B for the model number. Thank you for replying and helping me find th nameplate.

She is a 1959
