3C yamaha 40hp rev limiter

i would like to know what color is the rev limt wire on my 86 model 3 cylinder 40hp 2 stroke outboard.and where it can be found.Cheers.

I don't think there's a rev limiter wire on those. <br /><br />If there's a rev limiter, its more likely programmed into the CDI box. <br /><br />Why are you asking BTW?

My Seloc manual shows a jumper wire on two terminals on back of the CDI unit. A&C terminals are for over rev and heat in the closed position......B&C are then considered open.
