3M product used on rivets

Can't find it is a discussion what is the 3m product you use on rivets before you buck them in?

Not sure what your talking about but maybe people use 3m 5200? Thats their marine adhesive/sealant which is considered non-removable. 4200 or 4000UV is basically the same but less adhesive strength.

3M 5200 is the goop to use on rivets. 3M 4200 is for non-permanent sealing.

5200 is permanent, just like rivets are meant to be.
