Not sure how to check the high pressure fuel pump as there is no schrader valve after the high pressure pump in the fuel line.
How do I check the fuel pressure regulator?
I have cracked the fuel line and fuel sprays out. I'm thinking stuck fuel injectors as the boat has been sitting for 3 years not being used.
Any ideas?

There is a special fitting that you buy from Volvo or MerCruiser to check fuel pressure.
Do you have spark at the spark plugs? If you don't, the injectors won't pulse.

Looks like I need to buy a special fitting.
I have spark so that should not be an issue.

Here is the fitting, Merc part number 91-806901
TBI adapter 91-806901.jpg

Watch your tach when cranking, the tach should show at least 300 rpm. As Muc said it won't start if the ECM does pick up spark coming from the distributer

A noid light is cheap and will tell you if there electrical power and ground to the injectors.

Ok. I will buy the fuel fitting and noid light tomorrow.
I pulled the injectors and regulator. The injectors flow when activated with 5 volts and the regulator looked ok but will get a rebuild kit tomorrow as well.

Update time.
Got it running. The fuel pressure regulator was plugged up so after a rebuild and a good cleaning of the injectors all is good.
