4.3 GL PLKD Spark Plug

I have looked in the Clymer Volvo Penta Stern Drive Shop Manual to ensure I replace my plug with the proper plug and it notes that I need a AC Delco MR43T. I go to the boat store and grab them and compare them to the NGK plugs I removed and the NGK plugs have almost double the thread length. I check the LK manuals that Don S. posted on some forum a long time ago and downloaded those. In those manuals it says the spark plug I need is a AC Delco MR43LTS, VP-3856756-0, or CH-RS12YC. I don't know what to believe since nothing matches....

PLEASE HELP!!!

MR43LTS since you have the Vortec heads.

I also have the LK manual sitting right in front of me and that is what is says as well.

rockauto.com has those plugs for $1.70 each

That is why you should never believe anything your read in those manuals, there is more wrong information than good. OEM manuals are the only way to go, they cost more, but they are so much better.

I have them as well both paper and downloaded.

I keep a copy in my dropbox account so when I am on vacation, I can access a soft copy on my laptop.

If you downloaded from my account and it was for the LK model, then yes you have the correct ones.
