4.3 go Volvo penta run perfect for 15 mins then cuts off. It will sometimes start again but I have to choke it once or twice and it will run for a few minutes and cut off again. Sometime it won't ever start at all and u can hear it crank each time and if I let it sit for 30mins it will fire right back up. Pretty much going in circles the the issue. I just bought this boat 1 month ago! I checked the fuel filter and its full and don't know what else to do.... I'm a newbie! Oh yeah I took it out 3 times before this all happen and when I filled it up with new gas I had this problem....bad gas?

When you check the fuel filter, poor the contents into a clear container and observe. It there's water in there, it will settle at the bottom.

Also, next time try taking the fuel fill cap off and see it it happens again. The fact that it runs fine for awhile then suddently cuts out sounds like a tank vent problem.

Thanks boss man for the advise! I pour the fuel from the filter and notice there was a lot of brownish stuff floating around and some white milky liquid at the bottom. Please advise.

Back off some so we can see what the picture really is, and turn it the right direction. Don't need a picture of a single bubble taking up the whole screen with no way of comparing size.

I let it settled but u can still see the white bubble and gunk sinking to the bottom. Thanks don
