NHGuy Captain Joined May 21, 2009 Messages 3,631 Aug 1, 2014 #2 You only need it if your carb has an electric choke. If you have the divorced stove style choke coil that bolts onto the intake you need to leave the restrictor out so exhaust gas will warm that area.
