I want to put a 4.3l out of a truck in my boat how diffrent are the power curves of the engines

Ayuh,... Pretty much Unnoticeable....
Use brass coreplugs,+ swap all the accessories from the boat motor to the pickup motor...

Dont forget if it's raw water cooled you might want marine head gaskets.
