Last year I noticed my 1998 Stingray's oil pressure was running a little higher than normal, but it ran fine all season. I checked the oil and saw no problems (I checked it pretty regulary)When I was winterizing it, I found the oil was very milky. Now that it is time to get it in the water, I need to fix the problem......any chance this is just a head gasket? With an auto motor, I would pressurize the radiator to determine if I had a leak - I am not sure with a boat motor. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You mean you intentionally left milky oil in your engine over the winter?

Block off the water inlet and outlet hoses and pressurize the block.

Nope, I changed the "milky oil", but do not want to start it until I fix the problem - thanks for the tip.

Whew, had me worried there. Mostly because it happens so often.
