4.3 question

Just curious about the Holley 4 barrel 600 cfm. I ordered this for my 4.3. Liter. i then found a cfm calculator that says for the 4.3 that maximum is like 380 cfms. So I guess my question is why would they have the 600 cfm application for. Will this be to much for my motor. According to holley this is the one i need.

Jay, you can trust holley. The motor won't pull in anymore than it can blow out.

I put a Holly 600cfm on mine with the edlebrock performer intake, and new electronic distributor kit...never started so easy or ran so nice!

I did have to do some modification to the throttle bracket though, and extend the fuel line.

I have the same setup, boat is a powerhouse and doesnt run too rich or anything
