Hey guys. My 1997 Stingray I/O 4.3 is not charging (ie. only read 12 + - volts across the battery even with the engine rpm raised). I can run a straight wire from the alternator output terminal to the + positive terminal of the battery and the battery voltage increases to 14+- volts as it should when the engine rpm increases. What do you guys think. I can find no wiring diagram that shows a fuse. Thanks

You have a broken connection or your 90 amp fuse has blown. The fuse is a square block mounted on the main starter post
