We have had our boat out about 8 times this summer. This past week, when first getting underway and up to cruising speed (25-30 mph), and for a short time after, I could feel and see on the speedo an increase of speed of 3-5 mph. This happened three times and always after first starting the boat and it would last through three or four increases in speed on its own. It was a definite increase and not cutting out, you could hear and feel the motor rev up. Could this be a fuel problem? The fuel/water separator was changed at the beginning of the season.
