4.3 Volvo Penta gl starter replacement

Hello all, I am having an issue with my 2007 four Winns 180 horizon. When key is turned to start all I get is fuel pump ingaging and a very loud alarm that will not go off. I'm assuming it will go off if I could get the engine to turn over. Starter is not engaging I believe. Can this starter be replaced in the boat or will I have to pull the engine? Any advice helps. Thanks for your time.

Try replacing the slave solenoid first. You may not have to replace the starter. No need to pull the engine if you did.

jump selinoid with screwdriver to see if starts.
