Does the bendix ever jump up and engage the flywheel? I would make sure the battery has a full charge and that all the wiring connections are clean and tight. Aside from that sounds like it may be a faulty rebuild. I have installed brand new starters out of the box and had them not work.....very frustrating
This is a Merc but the sequence is the same. The run circuit is not here, just the start. Red is full time power, once key is turned to start the Yel/red happens
As tlewis mention above and I tried in your other thread, we both think you have a brand new starter problem.
