4.3gl will start but wont run

I have a 99 Larson with a 4.3gl that will start for a second but then die. Does it over and over again. I've changed fuel pump relay separator cap rotor and plugs. Is there anything I'm missing or can check. It appears to be getting plenty of fuel. Any help will be greatly appreciated

It sounds like the clip isn't on the kill switch. I don't remember what the exact term is but the clip below the throttle that must be in place or engine won't run
Mine is red and is on a coiled plastic coated wire that the operator is to hook on their person

I've wired around the safety switch as well thinking that was the problem.

Ok I've now changed safety switch and ignition switch. Still the same issue. There was a broke wire coming from alternator and that is now replaced as well
