Is replacing a tilt/trim motor and pump assembly a do it yourself type project or is it more difficult than what it appears? Also, how do you bleed the hydraulic system upon reassembly? Thanks for your help

In most cases you have a three prong plug (from the switches), a positive wire and a ground wire. There are two hydraulic lines. The pump is self bleeding. The unit is usually held to the boat by six screws. If you posess basic mechanical skills you should be able to do this yourself. If the thought of changing your own spark plugs is "out of the question".....well, better leave this project to a pro.
