Sticky:

1) Performance issue you are trying to correct.
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless as a minimum.
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required).
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight

Responses:

1) No performance issue just want to try different options
2) Solas Amita 2513-14-19 alum 4blade
3) 14.25 x 19
4) 4,400RPM @ WOT
5) 4.3L OMC cobra 1990 (not HO)
6) 1990 Seaswirl cuddy 19' (sorry don't know weight)

I have an opportunity to pick up a three blade 14.25x21 aluminum prop as a spare and wondered if anyone can comment on the performance I may experience. Will this turn too slow in the WOT range? My current 4blade 19p gets up on plane quick and tops out around 42mph but we had a fight with some rocks last weekend and I'd like to be ready to go for the coming weekend. The 21p can be ready for the weekend while the 19p is refurbished. :)

A 21 would be a tad much for your boat i believe..even in a 3 blade..New props are 100
